At ChannelEngine, we specialise in providing e-commerce solutions for online retailers. Our innovative platform enables businesses to connect their online stores with online marketplaces around the world, and manage their sales operations from a single dashboard. By automating and streamlining the selling process, we help businesses scale their operations and increase their online revenue.
As part of our mission to become the number 1 marketplace integrator in the world, we are moving from on-premise to the cloud and are looking for an Azure Solutions Architect to take the reins of this migration, including the high-level planning and the hands-on implementation. We offer hybrid working (once per week at the office is enough), a diverse and vibrant team to work with, and plenty of interesting projects to sink your teeth into.
What you’ll be doing
Guiding our migration from on-premise to Azure cloud; from designing to deploying, and ongoing management,
Developing and coordinating architecture that can be scaled across different geographical regions, ensuring compliance,
Configuring the necessary security controls, identity and access management, network and data management, and internal (monitoring) tools,
Building and managing secure, compliant and intuitive tooling that improves the stability, scalability, availability and latency of the ChannelEngine platform worldwide,
Helping make our product even more scalable by automating the testing, release and deployment of applications,
Optimising the cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness, including ongoing monitoring and fine-tuning,
Advising ChannelEngine on best cloud practices and approaches.
What you’ll need
A bachelor’s (HBO) degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field,
Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure; hosting, monitoring, and networking of a global platform/product with large data sets,
Hands-on experience working with Azure DevOps, Terraform, GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and ARM,
Ability to use common scripting languages such as Powershell, Bash, or Python, for automation,
Any of the following certifications would be a plus: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Azure Administrator (AZ-103 or AZ-104), DevOps Solutions (AZ-400)
Some familiarity with .NET would be beneficial but not essential,
Good communication skills in English,
Currently resident in the Netherlands.
