At ChannelEngine, we are creating an innovative SaaS solution that allows every brand, retailer, and distributor to become a global seller. We have a great product that is scaling rapidly and we are looking for a capable Business Analyst to join our Product Team to help us on our way to becoming the number 1 marketplace integrator in the world. Your focus will be on our core platform - gaining an understanding of its inner workings and the processes that flow through it and looking at how we can create maximum value for our customers as well as features that they’ll love.
What you’ll be doing
Getting to grips with all things product and tech at ChannelEngine, including the core platform, the development teams, the roadmaps and the user journeys,
Figuring out how we can make the ChannelEngine platform more scalable, engaging and attractive for customers and partners alike,
Collaborating with stakeholders across all levels of the business to gather requirements and create user stories and acceptance criteria,
Identifying pain-points, unearthing root-causes of bottlenecks and business challenges, and making recommendations on how to overcome them,
Converting all the useful e-commerce data we have in our platform into digestible business intelligence and actionable information so that we can make the right decisions,
Breaking down complex problems into coherent, customer-focused features, products and solutions,
Refining user stories and acceptance criteria with the development team during grooming sessions,
Facilitating product testing and new features as they rollout,
Communicating with stakeholders regarding any platform issues, upcoming features, and platform changes to ensure smooth implementation.
What you’ll need
5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within a fast-growing organisation,
Experience in working with back-end systems and development teams,
Experience working directly with business stakeholders of all levels,
Experience in using Jira, and BI tools such as Power BI or Google Data Studio,
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English,
E-commerce, marketplace, or fulfillment experience would be beneficial,
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills,
Currently resident in the Netherlands.
What can we offer you?
A varied role where you are able to contribute to solving the multitude of interesting technical challenges that arise when a company builds its own product,
The stability of a grown-up company alongside the craziness of a tech scale-up,
A personal development plan for you to grow within your role at our company,
An environment where you are encouraged to share your great ideas, come up with solutions, and take the reins in making things happen,
State-of-the-art tech: we work with the latest technologies, business models and tools,
Work-life balance - we like to enable people to work in ways that suit them best, which is why we have a hybrid-working model and flexible hours,
The opportunity to work from our modern office next to Leiden Central Station, with views across the city, ergonomic workstations, all the healthy (and slightly less healthy) snacks you could eat, and exceptionally good coffee to keep you well fuelled throughout the day,
Numerous wellbeing initiatives organised by our Happy & Healthy Team, including movie nights, bootcamps, and cooking classes!
A great pension plan and competitive salary.
