Business Analyst - Core Platform & Features

Job description

At ChannelEngine we are creating an innovative SaaS solution that allows every brand, retailer, and distributor to become a global seller. We have a great product that is scaling rapidly and we are looking for a capable Business Analyst to join our Product Team to help us on our way to becoming the number 1 marketplace integrator in the world. Your focus will be on our core platform - gaining an understanding of its inner workings and the processes that flow through it  and looking at how we can create maximum value for our customers and features that they’ll love. 


What you’ll be doing

  • Getting to grips with all things product and tech at ChannelEngine, including the core platform, the development teams, the roadmaps and the user journeys,

  • Figuring out how we can make the ChannelEngine platform more scalable, engaging and attractive for customers and partners alike,

  • Collaborating with stakeholders across all levels of the business to gather requirements and create user stories,

  • Identifying pain-points, unearthing root-causes of bottlenecks and business challenges and making recommendations on how to overcome them,

  • Converting all the useful e-commerce data we have in our platform into digestible business intelligence and actionable information so that we can make the right decisions,

  • Breaking down complex problems into coherent, customer-focused features, products and solutions and liaising with the development teams for implementation,

  • Facilitating product testing and new features as they rollout,

  • Communicating with stakeholders regarding any platform issues, upcoming features, and platform changes to ensure smooth implementation.

Job requirements

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within a fast-growing organisation,

  • Experience in working with back-end systems and development teams,

  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders of all levels,

  • Experience in using Jira, and BI tools such as Power BI or Google Data Studio,

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English,

  • E-commerce or marketplace experience would be beneficial,

  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills,

  • Availability to work 32-40 hours per week.
