ChannelEngine has a great opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Development Team! Our goal is to create a leading SaaS solution that allows every brand and retailer to become a global seller. We have a great product that is scaling rapidly so you will work closely with our Product Team, identifying and analysing business opportunities and potential process improvements to help facilitate our expansion at ChannelEngine. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Gathering, validating, documenting, and prioritising business requirements​,

  • Liaising with stakeholders across all levels of the business and creating user stories,

  • Documenting and supporting communication between relevant groups and stakeholders,

  • Communicating, translating, and simplifying business requirements to ensure buy-in from all stakeholders,

  • Converting all the useful e-commerce data we have in our platform into digestible business intelligence and actionable information,

  • Using analytical and statistical rigor to uncover potential for clients, answer business questions and drive business decisions,

  • Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts,

  • Analysing the root cause of business challenges and making recommendations on how to achieve business goals and stay competitive,

  • Creating functional specifications for solutions​,

  • Estimating costs and identifying business savings​.

Job requirements

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years’ experience in business analysis within a fast-growing organisation,

  • E-commerce experience will help in knowing what insights are useful,

  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders of all levels,

  • Experience in using Jira,

  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Google Data Studio or Tableau would be beneficial,

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in English,

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills,

  • Availability to work 32-40 hours per week,

  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands without visa sponsorship.
