As our first Business Development Rep in our North America team, you make a serious impact on the growth of ChannelEnginge. Next to chasing leads, you’re also expected to think strategically about creating effective sales funnels.
In this role, you work closely with our VP of Revenue and Account Executive to enter the North American market for our fast-growing Software as a Software (SaaS) company. We have a proven go-to-market strategy in Europe and a team of 100 ChannelEngineers across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, so we are now ready to take over North America! This is why we are looking for innovative sales talent that can help us drive our growth even further. Your focus will be on North American brands and retailers. You will engage cold and warm leads in order to schedule demos for the Account Executives. Set yourself up for a successful career by learning the necessary fundamentals to be a great salesperson, leader, and executive from an experienced closing team.
What you’ll be doing
Finding, qualifying, and developing new inbound and outbound opportunities, though smart lead finding, calling, emailing, and LinkedIn engagement,
Taking responsibility for top-of-the-funnel customer acquisition by building a robust pipeline of qualified client leads, uncovering new business, and building relationships with prospective customers,
Identifying potential prospects generated through targeted lists created by self-directed online research, email campaigns, and events,
Proactively addressing and qualifying incoming inquiries and leads generated through online advertising and marketing campaigns,
Effectively pitching ChannelEngine to key decision-makers, leveraging a value selling approach, via phone, online meetings, and events,
Becoming an expert on industry trends that are relevant to targeted vertical markets, and staying up-to-date with technology and news,
Maintaining a steady sales pipeline and reporting periodically to management.
What you’ll need
At least 1-2 years’ experience in B2B sales,
A commercial growth mindset and desire to perform better every day,
Ability to handle a few no’s before receiving a convincing yes,
Eager to learn and love giving and receiving feedback,
Desire to become a great salesperson, leader, and executive!
Must: proficient communication in English, both spoken and written,
