Business Development Representative - North America

Are you up for an entrepreneurial challenge?

As our first Business Development Rep in our North America team, you make a very serious impact on the growth of ChannelEnginge. Next to chasing leads, you’re also expected to think strategically about creating effective sales funnels.

In this role, you work closely together with our VP of Revenue and Account Executive to enter the North American market for our fast-growing Software as a Software (SaaS) company. We have a proven go-to-market strategy in Europe and a team of 100 ChannelEngineers in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, so we are now ready to take over North America!

Therefore we are looking for innovative sales talent that can help us drive our growth even further. Your focus will be on North American brands and retailers, you will engage and educate cold and warm leads to schedule qualified demos for the Account Executives.

Your Challenges

  • Find, qualify, educate and develop new opportunities inbound and outbound efforts, though smart lead finding, calling, emailing, and LinkedIn engagement

  • You are responsible for top-of-the-funnel customer acquisition by building a robust pipeline of qualified client leads, uncovering new businesses to go after, and building relationships with prospective customers

  • You identify potential prospects generated through targeted lists created by self-directed online research, email campaigns, and events

  • Proactively address and qualify incoming inquiries and leads generated through online advertising and marketing campaigns

  • You effectively pitch ChannelEngine to key decision-makers, leveraging a value selling approach, via phone, online meetings, and events

  • You will become an expert on industry trends that are relevant to targeted vertical markets, staying up-to-date with technology and news

  • You maintain a steady sales pipeline and report periodically to management

Job requirements

Who are you?

  • You have a commercial growth mindset and want to perform better every day.

  • You show 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales

  • You can handle a few no’s before receiving a convincing yes.

  • You are eager to learn and love receiving and giving feedback.

  • You have a positive and driven attitude

  • If you have some marketplace experience, you can start on Monday!
