ChannelEngine is looking for an enthusiastic Data Analyst to work alongside our business and technical teams to create business value through data. We’re working on some cool projects and need more talented people in the team to make our company goals a reality. We’re building a data platform, migrating to Azure, and working on machine learning models. You’ll be involved in all of this, as well as the day to day of helping convert all the useful e-commerce data we have in our platform into digestible business intelligence to provide our stakeholders with the right insights to aid their decision-making.


What else will you be doing?

  • Using business insight and technical knowledge to define, develop and deliver analytics solutions for stakeholders,

  • Liaising with external clients who request data or reporting solutions,

  • Communicating with business stakeholders to understand key metrics, analyse business and technical requirements then develop reporting / data applications,

  • Developing and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelines and data components to extend and optimise the ChannelEngine data platform,

  • Developing rich, intuitive automated dashboards,

  • Developing ad-hoc reports and providing analytics services to support business decision-making processes,

  • Searching and applying tools and/or methodologies to foster data analytics best practices,

  • Documenting relevant code, business requirements and technical processes,

  • Providing support to the development of training materials and training activities related to the BI tools and applications,

  • Debugging issues, discrepancies and finding root causes.

Job requirements

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Maths, Data Science, or a similar field,

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience as a developer or analyst within an analytics teams,

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in data modelling and SQL,

  • Ability to understand and analyse business processes and requirements,

  • Experience in dashboard development using PowerBI, Tableau, Looker or a similar tool,

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal,

  • Active listening skills and a proactive approach,

  • Willingness to learn new things,

  • Availability to work 32-40 hours per week,

  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands without visa sponsorship.


Nice to have

  • Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform experience,

  • Some Python skills.
