As part of our mission to become the number 1 marketplace integrator in the world, we are moving from on-premise to the cloud and are looking for a DevOps Engineer with good Azure experience to help us with the migration and some of the other interesting projects we are working on. You’ll join us in the beautiful city of Leiden as part of the Product & Tech Team of 70 bright minds, who build, grow and maintain the ChannelEngine platform. We offer hybrid working (once per week at the office is enough), a diverse and vibrant team to work with, and plenty of interesting projects to sink your teeth into. 

What you’ll be doing

• Lending your expertise to our migration from on-premise to Azure cloud; advising how best to set things up,

• Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools and services,

• Managing source code repositories and version control systems such as Git,

• Creating and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform,

• Configuring and managing build and release agents for automated build, testing, and deployment,

• Working with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software deployment and infrastructure,

• Implementing security and compliance standards in our Azure cloud environment,

• Monitoring and analysing performance metrics and logs to ensure system reliability and availability,

• Advising ChannelEngine on best cloud practices and approaches.

What you’ll need

• A bachelor’s (HBO) degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field,

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer,

• Proven experience working with the Azure cloud infrastructure of a global platform/product with large data sets,

• Hands-on experience working with Azure DevOps, Terraform, GitOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and ARM,

• Ability to use common scripting languages such as Powershell, Bash, or Python, for automation,

• Some familiarity with .NET would be beneficial but not essential,

• Good communication skills in English,

• Currently resident in the Netherlands.
