Management

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to serve as the financial guardian of ChannelEngine, taking end-responsibility for the company’s finances. Reporting directly to the CEO as a key member of the Management Team, you’ll lead the Finance and Accounting Department, provide strategic input to shape our business objectives, and be the financial sparring partner to your management peers.

What will you do as our Finance Director?

You’ll set ChannelEngine’s finance strategy and serve as the custodian of the company’s finances 💰 With the support of your dynamic 5-person finance team, you’ll ensure we remain an audit compliant company, through strong financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as solid forecasting and budgeting. A key focus of this role will be driving a scalable business model towards further growth - developing systems that improve company-wide decision-making and investigating potential M&A opportunities 📈

As our Finance Director, you’ll also be responsible for leading and developing your team, bringing out the best in each member, and elevating the overall performance of the department. Cultivating a high-performing and cohesive team, guiding them to achieve their potential, and ensuring they are aligned with the company's strategic goals are important aspects of the position.

Strong stakeholder management is crucial in this position. You’ll present at board meetings, collaborate with the CEO to pitch to potential investors, partner with the Legal Team on governance topics, and support your management peers in understanding the financial impact of the decisions they make ⭐ Other key areas of responsibility include overseeing treasury and cash management, tax compliance and optimisation, and banking relationships.
