We are looking for an ambitious finance/business analyst who will help us understand the path to our big hairy audacious goal.

ChannelEngine is a fast-growing SaaS solution, offering leading brands, distributors and retailers of all industries a solution to connect their systems to international marketplaces and sales channels while optimizing sales, minimizing time, and maximizing profit and reach. It offers brands, distributors, and retailers an automated order and return system to bring their sales to the next level.


Your Challenge

You will be responsible for extracting insights and learnings from the organization while working alongside multiple stakeholders to support their business challenges with critical thinking and creative solutions.


What you’ll be doing

  • You will be using business insight and technical knowledge to define, develop and deliver analytics solutions to stakeholders;

  • You liaise and work closely with the Business Intelligence team to continuously uphold a world-class Performance Management analytics universe;

  • Work with stakeholders to work out forecast models and key expense/investment drivers;

  • Validate product and project investment business cases and prioritization;

  • Monitor critical metrics in coordination with the business leaders;

  • Follow up on performance and prepare daily/weekly updates;

  • Ensure quality, accuracy and integrity of information stored in our reporting, enabling a single source of truth and streamlining our processes;

  • Provide in-depth understanding of the business by translating variances in KPIs, WC elements and macro-economics into actions.

Job requirements

What you’ll need

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics or Accounting related studies is required, or an equivalent of 1-3 years of financial analysis experience;

  • Highly advanced technical skills in Excel and must be able to analyze and manipulate large sums of data;

  • The ability to make insights actionable through effective use of tables, graphs and other great visualization techniques in excel and through powerpoint/google slides;

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to multitask;

  • Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends and analysis through data;

  • Strong and proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize own workload, and able to meet deadlines;

  • Proficiency in English;

  • Availability to work 32-40 hours per week;

  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands without visa sponsorship.
