We are looking for a Global Accounting and Consolidation Manager to lead ChannelEngine into its global expansion and proactively participate in the finance leadership team.
You assure financial integrity and transparency of accounting and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, Dutch Gaap, and local Gaap. You deliver sound accounting judgment and decisions such as the resolution of accounting issues, special accounting, and support to M&A. You manage and deliver a streamlined reporting process and ensure we deliver on our external & internal reporting obligations. You execute improvement and simplification projects and enable finance knowledge sharing. You mitigate risks by mapping business & financial processes, identifying and assessing their risks and setting appropriate controls to them. You will report to the Finance Director.

What you’ll be doing:
Develop, deploy and ensure compliance with accounting policies & directives;
Oversee and are accountable for the statutory filings and reporting of ChannelEngine’s financial entities, incl. sign-off of external reporting and understanding deltas between statutory and management reporting;
Deliver group consolidation including detailed analyses around working capital & indirect cash flow movements;
Deliver special accounting & reporting; tax reporting, local statutory reporting, ad-hoc audit requests, etc.;
Keep yourself updated with changes in statutory & tax rules and regulations; assesses business impact;
Establish (local) policies & procedures (IFRS & Local GAAP compliant) for statutory accounting & reporting, including statutory accounts;
Support statutory audits. Fulfill requests from regulatory & tax authorities;
Liaise with corporate service providers (such as TMF) for all regulatory and administrative requirements related to our local offices;
Drive and oversee improvement projects related to accounting processes and Internal Controls together with Finance Operations team;
Perform internal control testing within the scope.
What you’ll need
University degree in Finance and Accounting;
Accounting Qualification such as CPA, RA, RC or ACCA or equivalent;
Minimum of 4 years work experience at the big-4 and a few years of work experience in a multinational headquarters accounting and consolidation department;
Progressive experience in financial consolidation, reporting, analysis and internal control;
Project management, Change management and process improvement experience;
IT affinity necessary (SAP, BCS, Excel).
