IT Facilities Manager

ChannelEngine has a great opportunity for an experienced IT Facilities Manager to join our engineering team! As an organisation, we are rapidly expanding, with more employees joining us and more offices opening up, so we need someone to oversee the maintenance of our IT facilities and the related infrastructure at our locations around the globe. Our IT Facilities Manager will have the challenging task of ensuring the continued performance of the IT across our entire international tech scale-up.

What you’ll be doing

  • Running the IT support desk and building and managing a team of +/- 5 people,

  • Acting as the senior technical authority and responding to technical escalations from the support desk,

  • Determining what tools we should use at ChannelEngine and how best to implement them,

  • Sourcing and contracting international suppliers/vendors to meet ChannelEngine’s IT needs, including hardware and inventory,

  • Implementing new processes in order to create structure and reduce administrative burden,

  • Automating management tasks to streamline manual processes, such as device enrollment,

  • Running diagnostics on computer systems, responding to outages or issues, and performing maintenance,

  • Scheduling important upgrades and maintaining ongoing software subscriptions and updates.

Job requirements

What you’ll need

  • A bachelor’s (HBO or WO) degree in IT or a related field,

  • 6+ years’ experience in a similar position within a scale-up or rapidly growing organisation,

  • Minimum 2 year’s experience in building a team and managing an IT helpdesk,

  • Experience in asset management within an organisation of 200+ people,

  • Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, tools, and related processes,

  • Experience with MS Azure, Active Directory, Intune, and Autopilot,

  • Familiarity with common scripting languages such as Powershell, Bash, or Python,

  • Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch language skills would be a plus,

  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and hit the ground running,

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week,

  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands without visa sponsorship.
