Junior Sales Associate ANZ

Job description

In this junior sales role we want to offer you the opportunity to start your career in sales and grow within ChannelEngine.

Next to chasing leads, you’re also expected to think strategically about creating effective sales funnels. You will work closely together with our Partner Manager and Account Executive to grow the ANZ market for our fast-growing Software as a Software (SaaS) company. We have a proven go-to-market strategy in Europe and a team of 100+ ChannelEngineers in Europe, America, Asia, and the Middle East and we have the ambition to grow even more! Therefore, we are looking for innovative sales talent that can help us drive our growth even further. Your focus will be on brands and retailers, you will engage and educate cold and warm leads to schedule qualified demos for the Account Executive.

What you’ll be doing

  • You are responsible for top-of-the-funnel customer acquisition by building a robust pipeline of qualified client leads, uncovering new businesses to go after and building relationships with prospective customers,

  • You identify potential prospects generated through targeted lists created by self-directed online research, email campaigns, and events,

  • Proactively address incoming inquiries and leads generated through online advertising and marketing campaigns,

  • You effectively pitch ChannelEngine to key decision makers, leveraging a consultative selling approach, via phone, online meetings and events,

  • You will become an expert on industry trends that are relevant to targeted vertical markets, staying up-to-date with technology and news,

  • You maintain a steady sales pipeline and report periodically to management.

Job requirements

What you’ll need

  • 1+ yr of experience in a sales related role,

  • You have a commercial growth mindset and want to perform better every day,

  • You can handle a few no’s before receiving a convincing yes,

  • You are hungry to achieve results and growth in this region,

  • You are eager to learn and love receiving and giving feedback,

  • You want to become a commercial expert in SaaS and e-commerce

  • Must: you show a proficient level of both English, both in spoken and written form,

  • If you have some marketplace experience, you can start on Monday!
