Manager People Operations

Do you have international experience in designing, maintaining, and executing smooth and efficient administrative HR and payroll processes to support an excellent employee experience?

ChannelEngine has a very nice opportunity for a Manager People Operations who is a real team player, loves to dive into complex (international) administrative HR matters and is always looking for opportunities to improve the experience of our people and make processes more efficient.

What you'll be doing

  • Together with our People Operations Specialist(s) you design, implement and continuously improve scalable and flexible administrative HR processes and procedures that span the entire employee life cycle and that are extensible to business needs across borders;

  • You drive operational efficiency and automation for the ChannelEngine employee experience;

  • You work closely with our teams and our payroll, legal- and pension partners of the various countries in which we operate and execute local administrative processes and procedures that are compliant with local legislation;

  • You coordinate the international payroll process e.g. regarding salary, pension and/or other benefits with our finance team;

  • You create new partnerships with the companies we need to globalize our HR and payroll processes;

  • You coordinate and together with your team execute all administrative HR tasks: creating documents, agreements and letters and maintaining personnel files;

  • You inspire and lead the People Operations team;

  • You work closely with the rest of the People Team to design and maintain a competitive salary and benefits package;

  • You set up an HR dashboard to monitor progress on our strategic people goals and make sure your team reports on it regularly;

  • You are responsible for effectively and efficiently setting up and using our HRIS, Personio and our soon to implement Engagement and Performance Management tool Culture Amp;

  • You perform audits and controls to ensure compliance with legislation, GDPR, ISO 27001 and ChannelEngine policies;

  • You think along with our Head of People and the rest of the People Team to create the best possible employee experience.

Job requirements

What you'll need

  • You have at least 10 years of experience in People Operations/administrative HR roles, in a fast-scaling environment. You have experience in leading a People Operations team;

  • You have administrative HR experience in an international setting and you know how to set up administrative processes and payrolling in for example the US, APAC and the Middle East;

  • You quickly see the bigger picture and understand the consequences of changes;

  • You work in a very structured way and have a process-driven attitude, with a preference to constantly improve and simplify them;

  • You understand HR from a business perspective, you can translate requirements and drive the solutions;

  • You have extensive experience with new generation HR Information Systems;

  • You have a solid understanding of general HR knowledge and international labour laws;

  • Your planning skills are excellent, and you know how to set priorities;

  • You are fluent in English.
