In this role, you work closely with our business, engineering, and marketing teams to define and execute on data-driven marketing strategies. You drive the marketing department’s commercial performance through systematic campaign-specific results and overall measurement.

Your challenges

ChannelEngine is scaling rapidly and under the lead of our new VP of Marketing and Growth, we are on our way towards global growth. To realize our ambitions, we are looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to lead demand generation which covers affiliate, social, partner, customer and field marketing. You develop and optimize each of these areas end-to-end. You also set campaign goals, develop, and execute go-to-market strategies, and drive ongoing campaign optimization through post-campaign analysis and iteration. You optimize programs, campaigns, and landing pages, based on the real-time performance and the ROI.

In this challenging role, you work on strategic initiatives, but also be involved in day-to-day activities, providing input for key decisions on website design, content marketing, SEO/SEM, and more. You play a leading role in the management of digital projects inclusive of online planning and insight, online promotions, content production such as videos, online display advertising, web building and design, search, and social media. Also, you manage high quality acquisition programs, campaigns, and activities across the business’s online platforms. You ensure that digital projects within the marketing department are delivered in a timely manner and that they are always in line with the business’s guidelines, quality standards, and objectives.

Your daily activities:

  • Own entire lifecycle of all marketing campaigns, including overall strategy and design, day-to-day management, execution, analysis, and ongoing optimization
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop data driven digital marketing strategies
  • Manage and improve performance in organic and paid search, including design and implementation of SEO and SEM optimization tactics
  • Collaborate with design and editorial teams to produce high quality content
  • Perform A/B testing of key marketing materials and strategies to drive ongoing campaign optimization
  • Measure and report key findings from campaigns to help inform short and long-term marketing efforts
  • Lead day-to-day relationship with external agency partners

Job requirements

Who are you?

You’ll also bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing or Business Development
  • 10+ years relevant experience in performance marketing (e.g., data-driven digital marketing, content marketing) at a B2B company, preferably retail/e-commerce and ideally in a tech start-/scale up
  • Proven track record of effective management
  • A strong track record in demand generation including affiliate (performance/field) and channel marketing (brand marketing, paid advertising, lead generation, email marketing, social & search marketing, partner marketing, influencer marketing)
  • Strong marketing skills such as SEO and SEM
  • Experience with Google Analytics / AdWords and Hubspot, and ideally are familiar with other tools such as SEMrush, Moz, etc.
  • You are energetic, resourceful, and driven, and have the ownership to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly scaling environment
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat
