Product Analyst

Job description

At ChannelEngine we are looking for an experienced Product Analyst to help us take our marketplace integration platform to the next level. We have a great product that is scaling rapidly and we are looking for a capable Product Analyst to join our Product Team to help us on our way to becoming the number 1 marketplace integrator in the world. Your focus will be on our core platform - gaining an understanding of its inner workings and the processes that flow through it and looking at how we can create maximum value for our customers as well as features that they’ll love.

What you’ll be doing

  • Understanding all features within the platform.
  • Suggesting improvements on features and making the platform more scalable, engaging and attractive for customers and partners alike.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across all levels of the business and customers to gather requirements.
  • Managing the pipeline of incoming requests and categorising them accordingly.
  • Working closely with the Product Manager to prioritise features into the roadmap.
  • Creating epics and user stories with acceptance criteria within JIRA & Confluence.
  • Identifying problems and pain points, executing a root cause analysis and making recommendations on how to resolve them.
  • Breaking down complex problems into coherent, customer-focused features, products and solutions.
  • Working closely with the UX Designer to define wireframes and designs.
  • Working closely with the Tech Leads to define solution designs.
  • Refining user stories and acceptance criteria with the development team during grooming sessions.
  • Supporting the development team during development to answer questions and provide clarity.
  • Facilitating product testing and new features as they are released.
  • Communicating with stakeholders regularly regarding platform issues, upcoming features and platform changes to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Contributing to the BA competency and coaching other team members.

Job requirements

What you’ll need

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Analyst or Business Analyst working in an agile environment.

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in e-commerce or retail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, with the ability to reason, negotiate and build consensus,

  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and in an organised manner, while still paying attention to detail,

  • Enough experience and resolve to hit the ground running,

  • Currently residing in the Netherlands.
