We are looking for an experienced C# .NET developer to join the innovative tech teams that are responsible for developing and maintaining the high quality systems that form the ChannelEngine ecosystem. The team you’ll be joining is responsible for our core product, making sure that the scalability and performance of the platform meet the needs of our customers. As part of our growing team, you’ll contribute your bright ideas on how we can make ChannelEngine even better.
You’ll be changing the world of e-commerce one day at a time, alongside a cool bunch of knowledgeable professionals,
Working in a truly agile way within a non-hierarchical scrum team,
Helping to develop useful, high impact features for the ChannelEngine platform,
Participating in the evolution of the platform, with a special opportunity to work on things that interest you the most during our innovation weeks (one week in each three week sprint),
Contributing to, and refactoring, our beautifully crafted code base to make ChannelEngine future-proof, both in terms of security and performance,
Designing new features using domain driven design approach and evaluating the impact of large architectural changes,
Improving your own skills, and those of your colleagues, through continuous self-development, knowledge-sharing, and peer code reviews,
Guiding and coaching junior and medior developers,
Identifying technical areas for improvement in the ChannelEngine platform, creating POCs and taking ownership of implementing your innovative ideas.

C#, .NET 5 and 6, ASP.NET MVC, MS SQL Server, Redis, ElasticSearch (ELK), RabbitMQ
What you’ll need
A bachelor’s (HBO or WO) degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field,
5+ years’ programming experience using C# and .NET,
Experience designing large features, code migrations or other high impact changes,
A good understanding of relational databases and SQL, and experience with large data sets,
Experience working in a scrum team, and providing guidance to other developers,
An appreciation for TDD and creating unit tests,
Ability to write clean, well-structured code that is testable and well-documented,
Experience in e-commerce or marketplaces,
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal,
Flexibility, creativity, and a can-do attitude,
Currently resident in the Netherlands.
