Senior eLearning Developer

Job description

We are a global, fast-growing tech scale-up. You are an experienced Learning Developer with a well-trained eye for design, and the technical background to create something awesome from scratch! We need you to play a key role in developing engaging, high-quality training programs for the 2000 brands and customers currently using our e-commerce SaaS platform.

If you have innovative ideas about learning (e-learning, blended learning, Microlearning, In-Product training, etc.), the desire to achieve results together with a team, experience in learning processes, experience in e-learning development and want to grow as a(n) (e)Learning Developer, you are the person we are looking for!

The Learning Team is a new department for internal and external learners and will therefore offer a lot of room for responsibility, creativity, independence, and personal development in a collaborative setting to achieve our ambitions together as one team.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Developing blended learning paths, (digital) learning modules, and online assessments for our employees, customers, and partners all over the world

  • Translating business requirements, defining processes and the needs of our learners (internal and external) into concrete online and blended learning solutions together with our technical experts,

  • Conceptualizing and developing media elements (visual and interactive) for e-learning, such as infographics, edited videos, animations, various assessment types for our training programs,

  • Developing, maintaining and improving integrated learning journeys, such as e-learning modules, videos, training materials, online assessments, and certification programs, for standard or in-depth learning,

  • Gathering the learning content requirements, conducting Training Need Analysis with subject matter experts, and ensuring the goals for the training programs are met,

  • Consulting in sessions to test the feasibility and roll out new learning concepts, technology, and tools in close collaboration with the Director of Learning,

  • Providing support to the set up of new systems, LMS and LRS,

  • Taking ownership of short-term, just-in-time projects with quick turn-around times.

Job requirements

What you’ll need

  • Strong experience in developing professional learning courses, both on- and offline,

  • Strong experience in working with authoring tools such as the Articulate Suite,

  • Experience in working with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar,

  • Prior experience with:
    • graphic and visual design,

    • instructional design,

    • web & user experience design,

    • video and audio editing,

    • animation and motion Graphics,

  • Knowledge of programming concepts,

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems administration is preferred,

  • Native, or near-native, language abilities in English, verbal and written,

  • A self-motivator and self-starter attitude, with the ability to take a project and run with it independently,

  • Ability to solve problems and meet development timelines based on internal standards and defined budgets,

  • Availability to work a minimum of 24 hours per week.
