ChannelEngine is scaling rapidly and we are on our way towards global expansion. To realize our ambitions, we are looking for a SEO Specialist to grow our online presence and generate leads for our sales team.
What you’ll be doing:
You take ownership of the SEO strategy, you identify both short- and long-term growth opportunities, and work alongside multiple stakeholders to build a roadmap to support ChannelEngine’s organic growth goals. Your main goal is to improve organic SERPs (primarily Google but also others).
Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the current state of SEO across the areas of technical SEO, on-page/content optimization, inbound-linking and authority development,
Extracting insights, identifying relevant trends, and providing proactive recommendations for overall organic performance, algorithm changes, and other competitive activity,
Establishing reports and monitoring daily metrics to understand SEO performance and track, report, and analyze website analytics initiatives and campaigns,
Identifying innovative areas for on-page optimization such as load time, HTML structure, and internal linking to maximize exposure of ChannelEngine’s content through search,
Recommending changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other areas for improvement, as well as suggesting and implementing new features to develop brand awareness, such as promotions and competitions,
Creating reports and communicating to internal stakeholders on strategy/project development, timelines, and results.
What you’ll need
Bachelor's degree in marketing, or a relevant field.
In depth knowledge of SEO optimisation principles, ranking factors (both content & technical, e.g. meta tags).
Basic understanding of UX.
SEA knowledge and/or experience in media/digital agencies would be an advantage!
A team player mentality and a positive “can do” attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
