ChannelEngine has a great opportunity for an experienced SEO Specialist!

ChannelEngine is scaling rapidly and we are on our way towards global expansion. To realize our ambitions, we are looking for a SEO Specialist to grow our online presence and increase organic traffic to our site. You take ownership of the SEO strategy, identify both short- and long-term growth opportunities, and you are responsible for SEO analysis and performance. In this role you’ll:

  • Create a SEO strategy and roadmap based on your own audits and research

  • Create a content plan to reach our target audience, including a content gap analysis to identify growth opportunities in extending/improving existing content, including our Knowledge Base articles

  • Perform ongoing technical analysis, content audits and keyword research to develop recommendations for overall organic performance

  • Migrate SEO rankings from our current website to the new one, including recommendations for an optimized navigational path

  • Identify technical SEO opportunities for on-page optimization such as load time, HTML structure, and internal linking to maximize exposure of ChannelEngine’s content through search engines

  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other areas for improvement

  • Create a SEO dashboard, reports and communicating to internal stakeholders on results

  • Efficiently communicate and collaborate with the marketing team to align on goals and campaigns, including the CRO Specialist, Digital Marketing, Campaign Manager and copywriters

  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the current state of SEO across the areas of technical SEO, indexing, redirection, structured data, image attributes, on-page/content optimization, link building and authority development

Job requirements

What you’ll need

  • At least 3 years of experience in all aspects of SEO: technical SEO, content, link building, analysis

  • Proficiency in SEO best practices, website analytics and performance tools like for example Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.

  • Experience with website migrations preferred, not required

  • B2B experience

  • Enthusiasm and hands-on mentality

  • Ecommerce and SaaS affinity
