We are an international, fast-growing tech scale-up. You are a tech-savvy, analytical technical writer.

Would you like to use your writing skills to support 2000 brands and customers, who are using our e-commerce SaaS-platform?

As our E-commerce platform grows, our documentation needs are also growing. Therefore, we need you. A Senior Technical Writer capable of comprehensively learning our platform and documenting features, improvements, dependencies, known issues, and everything in between. If you are experienced in technical writing and documentation at a senior level and want to make a difference for 2000 brands and customers, we need your experience to take our documentation to the next level.

Documentation plays a key role in how our customers take advantage of the platform’s many components, and in ChannelEngine, we treat it as an essential part of our product. You’ll create high-quality and understandable internal and external documentation. The goal: to make our products easier to use and to improve the success of our customers.

Your Challenges

  • Work with internal support and software development teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of our E-commerce Marketplace SaaS platform and the documentation requirements
  • Translating complex technical information into easily understandable information for customers, partners and colleagues.
  • Producing high-quality technical documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience. So you’re able to adapt your story to the knowledge level of the customer
  • Write easy-to-understand online help and guides and create tutorials to help end-users
  • Create a knowledge base and maintain the information architecture

Job requirements

Who are you?

This really makes you the perfect colleague to support our customers:

  • Strong experience in technical writing of software documentation. You understand the craft of technical writing and how it differs from other types of writing
  • Have knowledge and experience in software development that you can utilize in one of the following areas: APIs, integration, deployment, documentation engineering (docs-as-code, localization), user assistance/guidance embedded in the product, microcopy/UX writing
  • Experience with creating or improving a knowledge base is preferred
  • Fluent in English (near-native level)
  • 32-40 hours per week available
