Job description
We are currently looking for an Internal IT Team Lead to oversee our IT Team, ensure smooth internal IT operations, and align IT strategies with business goals. The IT Team is responsible for systems administration, applications and device management, and implementing security best practices across our worldwide locations 🌍
What will you do as our Internal IT Team Lead?
You’ll be providing leadership to an IT support desk of +/- 3 people, coaching team members in both technical skills and career development, and acting as the senior technical authority for escalations. Evaluating, implementing, and automating IT tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burdens are also key focus areas of the role 💻 Furthermore, you’ll contribute to the company’s AI initiatives by identifying opportunities for AI-driven automation, integrating AI solutions into IT workflows, and supporting teams in leveraging AI technologies effectively 🤖
⌨️ You’ll source and manage international suppliers for hardware and IT services, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure security and compliance. Other key responsibilities include overseeing system maintenance, responding to outages, scheduling upgrades, and managing software subscriptions to ensure a seamless and secure IT environment.
Job requirements
What makes you the ideal Internal IT Team Lead?
A bachelor’s (HBO or WO) degree in IT or a related field,
4+ years’ experience in leading an IT support desk within a growing organisation of 200+ colleagues,
Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, tools, and related processes, including security standards and systems hardening,
Experience with MS Azure, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Jamf Pro,
Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS device management,
Knowledge of one or more scripting languages such as Powershell, or Bash,
Good communication skills in English,
Currently resident in the Netherlands.
