Job description

We are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join one of our marketplace integrations teams, building and maintaining connections between ChannelEngine and marketplaces worldwide. Your work will directly help customers expand to new sales channels, supporting our mission to become the #1 marketplace integrator globally. Working in a fast-paced, innovative scale-up, you’ll tackle complex engineering challenges in a rapidly evolving e-commerce landscape.

What will you do as a Senior .NET Engineer?

You’ll play an important role in shaping and optimising API integrations with marketplaces and sales channels, while designing scalable, high-impact features.  You will contribute to the security and performance of complex systems, ensuring that solutions are robust, deployable with minimal changes, and aligned with best practices. A key focus will be enhancing our Amazon integration, and leveraging the latest features within the Amazon ecosystem. 

With a strong sense of ownership, you will independently analyze and resolve complex issues, lead component integration efforts, and ensure comprehensive test coverage through rigorous debugging and code reviews. Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as you will engage with leadership, cross-functional teams, and peers to drive innovation while mentoring more junior developers.

Job requirements

What makes you the ideal Senior .NET Engineer?

  • A bachelor’s (HBO or WO) degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field,

  • 7+ years’ programming experience using C# and .NET,

  • Familiarity with the e-commerce/marketplace industry,

  • Experience designing large features, code migrations or other high impact changes, 

  • A good understanding of relational databases and SQL, and experience with large data sets,

  • Experience working with complex applications using CI/CD and automated testing,

  • Experience working in a scrum team, and providing guidance to other developers,

  • Experience with TDD and unit test frameworks,

  • Ability to write code that is easy to read, test and re-use,

  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal,

  • Currently resident in the Netherlands.
